About the Hike:

Head out on this 7.4-mile point-to-point trail near Woodlands, British Columbia. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 4 h 12 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking and running, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are February through November. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
This point to point hike covers the section of the Baden Powell Trail from Deep Cove to Lynn Canyon Park. Well maintained and heavily trafficked, this route is often considered to be the most scenic section of the full 45 km Baden Powell Trail.

Numerous attractions are passed along the way, with the most popular being Quarry Rock, Seymour Canyon, Twin Falls, and Lynn Canyon. Trail conditions range considerably throughout the hike, with a mix of smooth paths, long boardwalks, steep staircases, and rougher terrain.

Please note that trailhead parking in Deep Cove is limited to three hours which will likely not be enough time for this hike. Street parking without time limits is available a short distance away but finding an empty space will often be difficult. As an alternative, this hike also works very well with an opposite start from Lynn Canyon Park. Parking will be much easier here, with several large lots available at this park.
