About the Hike:

Check out this 5.7-mile loop trail near North Vancouver, British Columbia. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 26 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking and running, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
This loop trail runs alongside a river and through a forest. It is commonly used for trail running, and there are a few lookout points.

The trail is mostly dry and easy to traverse, thanks to the gravel trails that prevent mud on the lower sections. Although some minor tree roots may pose obstacles, it is generally easy to navigate.

Difficulty, Distance, and Elevation:
Moderate, 13.1 Km ( 4 km back and forth getting to the trailhead + 9.1 km loop), 240 meters of elevation gain.

Recommended Clothing, Footwear and Gear:
1. Sweater or a hoodie (if cold)
2. Bring a rain jacket (if the sky is overcast or raining)
3. Your shoes should be hiking shoes or hiking boots. Running shoes are okay.
4. Gloves (optional)
5. Toque or a hat (optional)
