Ambush Paintball

Ambush Paintball has 4 distinct types of fields to fit different playstyles. Lost Forest has large trees, bases and hidden paths. Ambush City is a rural trailer park with apocalyptic vibes having limited cover. Over Run is an Attack and Defend style field that sees one team assaulting a large fortress while the other team defends it. Grassy Mounds has longer lines of sight around the edges of the field with a central base overlooking the entire field. Whatever your playstyle is, Ambush Paintball has a variety of fields to fit your preference.

Event co-hosted with the Meetup Groups: Vancouver Paintball & Airsoft, and North Van Hiking

*Additional paintballs can be purchased in-person by attendees.
At this field, attendees use approximately 100-200 paintballs per hour.
*If we don’t have drivers, we will split the cost of ride shares among the attendees.

Meeting At: Waterfront Station (entrance), 232 Howe St, Vancouver, BC.

Expenses (includes tax):
$50.40 rental package: mask, paintball gun, air refills, 100 paintballs (e-Transfer to Organizer)
$17.70 rideshare fee (e-Transfer to Organizer)
(Rideshare cost breakdown: $61.56 ride + tax x 1.15 tip = $70.80/4 attendees = $17.70 above)

Optional Purchases (includes tax):
$16.80 for 100 Paintballs, or $67.20 for 500 Paintballs
$16.80 Coveralls (limited amount)

Event Requirements:
Members who are responsible and show up to events, and want to take part in these events are encouraged to sign up, but due to paid events averaging a higher then usual number of no-shows and expenses, we have additional requirements below.

We have a 3 strike no-show policy, attendees who do not attend events will face one or more of the following restrictions depending on the event and the organizer:
no refunds for the event, event restrictions, and/or removal from the group.
***All expenses are final, and are used to book accommodations and travel ahead of time, another group member may take your place at your own expense if you decide not to go.

LEGAL INFORMATION, LIABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are a group of volunteers. We are NOT a professional organization or pro trail guides and/or pro event organizers. The organizer and any/all assistant organizers and other attendees are in no way responsible and liable for your personal safety and health state, before, during and at anytime after this event. Risks of attending hiking events include, but are not limited to: getting lost; slipping and falling; snow and ice; extreme cold; extreme heat; dangerous animals; insects; falling trees or brush; falling rocks or landslides; fire; flooding; bridge failure; unstable ground; and falling in fast moving water.
As a condition of your participation in the event, you assume all risk of personal injury, death or property loss resulting from any cause whatsoever including NEGLIGENCE, BREACH OF CONTRACT OR BREACH OF ANY DUTY OF CARE ON THE PART OF THE HOST. You agree that the host shall not be liable for any personal injury, death or property loss and release the host from all liability and waive all claims with respect thereto.
Negligence includes failure on the part of the host to take reasonable steps to safeguard or protect you from or warn you of the risks, dangers and hazards referred to above. You assume all cost of your own rescue or evacuation.
By RSVP'ing "Yes", for this event, you acknowledge that you fully understand and accept the aforementioned conditions and following event attendance conditions and, you are solely responsible for your own health, safety and well-being before, during and at anytime after the event as stated previously.
All attendees shall forever hold harmless the organizers and other attendees and unconditionally waive any liabilities resulting from attending and/or participating in this event.
