**About the walk:**

Join us for a festive nighttime walk to take in the Christmas displays in Coal Harbour and at Canada Place. Bring your singing voice and spread holiday cheer along the Seawall!\*

*\*Singing is optional. Holiday cheer is mandatory.*

We will finish at the [Vancouver Christmas Market ](https://www.vancouverchristmasmarket.com/)(tickets required). If you choose to explore this German-style Christmas market, you can eat, try mulled wine, and finish your Christmas shopping early.

If you buy a timed entry ticket in advance, you won’t have to wait in line at the Market. I recommend buying a ticket for the 6-6:30 pm entry window.

**Clarification:** the meeting time at Devonian Harbour is 5 pm. We will then walk towards the market and arrive at the market entrance between 6 and 6:30 pm.

**Difficulty, Distance, and Elevation:** Very easy, 1.5 km (one way), 20 m gain
**Meeting At:** Devonian Harbour Park, Denman & West Georgia (at the bus stop)
**Finish At:** Vancouver Christmas Market, Jack Poole Plaza
**Parking:** Easy Park on Denman (Pay parking)

**Recommended Clothing, Footwear and Gear:**

1. Walking shoes
2. Rain coat, umbrella, and/or warm jacket (weather dependent)
3. Gloves and toque
4. Camera!
5. Optional: Ticket or money for admission to Vancouver Christmas Market, if you wish to attend
6. Holiday spirit

We are a group of volunteers. We are NOT a professional organization or pro trail guides and/or pro event organizers. The organizer and any/all assistant organizers and other attendees are in no way responsible and liable for your personal safety and health state, before, during and at anytime after this event. Risks of attending hiking events include, but are not limited to: getting lost; slipping and falling; chairlift or gondola malfunction; falling from chairlift or gondola; snow and ice; extreme cold; extreme heat; dangerous animals; insects; falling trees or brush; falling rocks or landslides; fire; flooding; bridge failure; unstable ground; and falling in fast moving water.

As a condition of your participation in the event, you assume all risk of personal injury, death or property loss resulting from any cause whatsoever including **NEGLIGENCE, BREACH OF CONTRACT OR BREACH OF ANY DUTY OF CARE ON THE PART OF THE HOST.** You agree that the host shall not be liable for any personal injury, death or property loss and release the host from all liability and waive all claims with respect thereto.

Negligence includes failure on the part of the host to take reasonable steps to safeguard or protect you from or warn you of the risks, dangers and hazards referred to above. You assume all cost of your own rescue or evacuation.

By RSVP'ing "Attend", for this event, you acknowledge that you fully understand and accept the aforementioned conditions and following event attendance conditions and, you are solely responsible for your own health, safety and well-being before, during and at anytime after the event as stated previously.
