This challenging day trail offers a variety of attractions and terrain types, from the touristy Norvan Falls, to the sparsely visited backcountry of Hanes Valley, to the top of Grouse Mountain. This is the perfect hike for people who are interested in a challenge and viewing great sights, but also want to experience the natural beauty of Vancouver’s nearby mountains without the crowds of fellow tourists.

*The cost to go down the Gondola is $20

Hard, 15.8 km trail (one way) + 4 km (roundtrip from Kilmer Park) = 19.8 km total, 1256 meters of elevation gain
