Microspikes/Trail crampons/Snowshoes mandatory

This winter access trail through the Hollyburn Peak and Cypress Mountain area is an ideal winter day-hike adventure. This trail begins from the main parking area, with some facilities. The trail begins near the power lines and is followed by a intense climb for about 30 minutes. Once past the initial incline, it continues past numerous lakes and streams. Finally there is the steepest section of the trail to get to the summit and the views.

This hike will happen in November, so we'll probably encounter some snow or ice. Therefore it is recommended to be prepared, for instance, with microspikes for safety. General winter gear and dressing in layers is also recommended.
