What the event about
Improvisation, or ‘improv’, is a form of group activity in which the plot, characters and dialogue of a game, scene or story are made up spontaneously.
There are no lines to rehearse and is highly creative.
Studies have shown that the skills of improvisation can help with better management of unexpected changes and uncertainty. It improves collaboration, builds confidence, and increases the ability to absorb new ideas. It is highly recommended for creativity. We will use a variety of virtual games as a way of being creative. You must know a little about Improv or been to an Improv event in the past.

Making mistakes is OK (and where learning and creativety happens)
Go with the Flow - Say “Yes and….”
Respect other people’s boundaries
Be prepared for spontaneity, silliness and laughter. You will need to be come with an open mind. We operate a pay-as-you feel model.

About the Facilitator
Ketan Varia has runs a regular improv drop-in in London over the last 2 years. He is also active in Applied Improvisation. His background includes 20yrs of experience in helping organisations and individuals work better with change.

If you want to be more creative in your thinking at work or in relationships, then this is the event for you. This session will help you become more spontaneous, create more options and become more flexible in your thinking.

What software do I need to join
We use zoom.us as our technology. You will be sent a joining link after registration. Ideally use a computer but a tablet device will also work. If you can, avoid using a mobile phone.
