About us

North West Tech Talks is a group for data practitioners to learn about anything that helps them with their chosen area of specialism.

Please submit any questions, suggestions or concerns here.

As we're keen to help build the data community we welcome and prioritize inexperienced speakers, those from under-represented demographics and those based in the North West of the UK (including North Wales). We are able to provide support and mentorship for any new speakers as it can be quite scary but rest assured, we are a very friendly group who respect each other - which leads me onto the CODE OF CONDUCT:

This is a community group run by volunteers. We may exceed your expectations, or not meet your expectations, and while we welcome all feedback, we expect everyone to be respectful to each other.

We seek to provide a respectful, friendly, professional experience for everyone, regardless of their gender, sexual orientation, physical appearance, disability, age, race, or religion. We will not tolerate any behavior that is degrading to any gender, race, sexual orientation, or disability, nor do we tolerate any behavior that would be deemed harassment or discrimination. Individuals are responsible for knowing and abiding by our standards and we encourage everyone to assist in creating a safe and welcoming environment.
