What we’re about

I've been SUPing since 2011. I can't seem to find any SUP groups in the GTA, so I thought I would start one.

Looking for fun low-key people who just want to enjoy being on the water, cruising around, nothing crazy.

Please join if you're interested and we can get things started. Let me know if you have any ideas. This is for those who have their own equipment (including safety equipment such as pfd, whistle, leash).

Prince of Wales Park, Toronto, ON
Meet up on the grass next to where we launch around Noon, and try and get on the water by 7:30 latest (so come at noon so we have time to get our stuff together). Should be enough time for a 60-90 minute paddle before it gets dark.

Bring your own board/gear

Bring water.

Bring a PFD/Leash/Whistle

Dry bags if you need it.

Plan is to paddle in the area between Colonel Samuel Smith Park and Humber Bay Park West (see image below).

Current forecast on windfinder as of date posting this is 3kts windspeed and about 12-14*C, so nice and calm.

There's usually parking there, but on a nice day it might be full - but you can also park along the streets there.
