“Pillion is a wonderful film that’s heavy with purpose… All that and it’s also very, very hot.”★★★★★ Time Out
“It’s basically what Fifty Shades of Grey should have been.” ★★★★ The Guardian
“Melling’s high-wire skill at cycling between elation and sadness keeps the film resolutely grounded. It’s a triumphant risk to have taken, and very much the performance of his career to date.” ★★★★ The Daily Telegraph
“It’s knotty stuff for a first film but Lighton finds a delicate balance between disturbing, funny, sweet and sad.” ★★★★ The Times
“Pillion lets audiences encounter every shade of explicit without veering into hardcore territory… Solely shocking viewers is not the point. Instead we’re immersed in a vivid relationship that leaves its mark after the credits roll.” ★★★★ metro.co.uk4 attendees

Until she meets Kit: Christopher's mysterious, magnetic and utterly irresistible sister. She can't possibly fall for her fake boyfriend's sister this Christmas . . . can she?
About QWord:
QWord is a book group for local LGBTQIA people, run by QStory Northampton. We read and discuss literature with queer themes and/or written by LGBTQIA authors. We meet monthly and read a wide range of books, including novels, short stories, graphic novels and poetry, chosen by our members.
