QFilm is a group for LGBTQIA film-lovers that has been running in Northampton since 2014 (and is now run under the QStory umbrella). We meet up once or twice a month to watch queer-themed films at the Northampton Filmhouse then move on to a nearby venue to discuss what we thought of it. All are welcome to join us.

Meeting somewhere at the intersection of Before Sunrise and Weekend, in A Night Like This two star-crossed but seemingly disparate men connect over the course of a single, chilly night. As their unlikely connection deepens, haunting pasts resurface, threatening to unravel their mission for redemption and purpose.
Lukas is a disillusioned loner in his 30s who has achieved nothing. Oliver is a nightclub owner on the brink of bankruptcy. Both out alone at the pub drowning their respective sorrows, Oliver and Lukas decide to spend the night out together after an initially awkward meeting, because they had anything better to do. What follows is a revelatory evening of bar-hopping, deep discussions, and uncomfortable truths, as these two men not only get to know each other but come to a better understanding of themselves in the process.
