Muir Beach- Pirate's Cove Coastal Trail Loop

This is a spectacular coastal route - stunning ocean views, intense 4.5 miles of coastal climbing! This is a strenuous hike - about 1300' elevation gain with some very steep sections - not a hike for beginners. We'll hike from Muir Beach over to Pirate's Cove and loop back. Bring sunscreen - no tree cover on this hike. We should be done by about 12:00-12:30.
