In response to popular demand (e.g. people wanted to get a speaker from the Seattle Space Industry), we are pleased to have Rob Hoyt, CEO of Firmamentum & Tethers Unlimited, Inc. as our guest speaker on October 3rd. Rob's two companies are focused on space tethers and 3D printing in space. See below for his bio.

Rob's talk is titled "In-Space Manufacturing Technologies ", although I'm sure he'll touch on the tethers as well.
