Edgewater Beach Cleanup

Let's venture to Lake Erie to help with a beach cleanup.

What to bring:
~Weather protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, etc.)
~Work gloves or garden gloves if you have them
~Trash collection bags should be provided, but a bucket might also be handy if you have one.

The Alliance for the Great Lakes’ Adopt-a-Beach program mobilizes thousands of volunteers who give back to their local beaches each year.
Over time, plastic litter breaks down into small pieces which can be eaten by birds, fish, and other wildlife. Tiny plastic pieces have also been found in bottled water, beer, and even tap water around the region.
