Let’s meet in the parking lot of the Nature Center by the map kiosk . The Nature Center should be open at 9:30 with heat and warm bathrooms. We will walk about 2 hours, but less if folks are too cold. Current prediction is low of 4 and high 12.. but no fresh snow. I am sure there are a few hardy souls out there who want to get out. Just dress warmly. Bring a thermos of your favorite warm beverage maybe. Route will depend on conditions.. maybe the sylvan overlook (less wind there) or the all purpose trails to buttermilk falls and maybe strawberry picnic area. Looking for Trails that will keep us out of the wind. Expect snow packed trails and some ice. Wear your stabilizers and maybe a walking stick..
Questions or can’t find us call or text Debbie 715-308-4739. If you change your mind please cancel on the website. Hope to see you… maybe some sun? But clouds are predicted.
