Kayaking Lake Erie (Madison to Arcola Beach)
Details
Join me on a leisurely paddle from Madison to Arcola beech. The round trip distance is under 6 miles. I try to do two paddles a week during the warm weather months. It's nice to have others with whom to paddle.
We will put in at Madison Township park (2065 Hubbard Rd, Madison, OH 44057) at the north end of SR 528 next to the Vincent Williams winery at 10:00 AM. We will paddle to Arcola Creek park approximately 2.5 miles to the east, and then back to our start point. There is a really nice beach at Arcola park with a lagoon area that has abundant wildlife where we can stop. We can lunch at one of the surrounding restaurants as an option when we return.
