55th Street Marina: trail to 9th street

We will meet in the parking lot of the 55th street Marina near The Galley restaurant. We will walk the newly black topped all purpose trail along Lake Erie to the Rock and Hall of fame and maybe the science center and back .
How far we walk depends on the group. Thursday should be cooler plus low risk of rain. There should be a nice breeze off the lake. We will walk at an intermediate pace with time to look around.. there is a sub, a women’s air force museum and a few other sights, The longest distance is 6 miles but we can make it less.
We will walk rain or shine. I will cancel by 9am if the weather is terrible.

After the walk we can eat at The Galley restaurant, or if you prefer we can do a picnic lunch by the lake.

This is a first time event. The nice trail was just finished. Seemed like a good time to check this out. I have been here on a bike
