Riverfront North Partnership is organizing free fishing days this spring to community members who want to learn or refine their skills as anglers on the Delaware River. Fishing will take place at various parks along the Delaware River (Pulaski Park in Port Richmond, Frankford Boat Launch in Wissinoming, Pleasant Hill Park in Torresdale) once a week. Learn to Fish - Pleasant Hill Park
Pleasant Hill Park, Philadelphia, PA, USLearn how to fish- For FREE! Rods, tackle, bait and basic instruction will be provided. First come, first served. We have rods to loan out and worms for bait. You are welcome to bring your own rod.
No fishing license necessary; state license requirements are waived for these events. Great for youth & adults who are new or intermediate anglers.
MEET AT THE PONDS within Pleasant Hill Park (you’ll see the ponds on your right hand side as you enter from Linden Ave. Park in the main park parking lot near the rec center, and use the park paths – about 500ft – to cut through to the ponds)

Volunteer at Borski Park - Love Your Park Weekend
Borski Park, 3150 Orthodox St, PHILADELPHIA, PA, USSave the Date! We’ll be loving our beloved Borski Park along the Delaware River on Sunday, November 16th. We’ll be doing fall plantings, a shoreline cleanup and general beautification! Join us and bring the whole family for a fun service day! Coffee and snacks before and a potluck/pizza lunch after. All ages and abilities welcome, tools and gloves provided.
