Belsay Hall, Castle and Gardens 🏰🌷

Join us on a trip up to Belsay Hall, Castle and Gardens. Hundreds of years of history is on display, from a medieval castle to a Greek Revival mansion, and 30 acres of gardens, which should be in full bloom in the lovely summer weather we will hopefully have 🤞🏻☀️💐!

We will meet at 12:30pm in front of the Hall, which should be right in front of you as you enter through the admission building. There will be a chance to tuck into your picnic or to grab some refreshments from the cafe by the entrance. 🥪☕

We'll then wander around the hall, explore the gardens, and head across to the castle, which also has another café in case you get peckish! 🍰

🎟️ Tickets are available on the gate for £17.70, or for just £15 in advance online here. If you get the bus it is 20% off or £14.16 on the gate. English Heritage members can visit for free.

🚗 Belsay is a 25 minute drive from Newcastle, and there is parking on site. Parking is free for English Heritage members or cash payment otherwise.

🚌 There is a free bus that runs from (Newcastle) Haymarket and Belsay, the X75. It takes approximately half an hour, and the 11:30 from Haymarket would be your bus of choice to arrive for the event. The bus gets you a discount on entry.
