Shutter Showdown: Coastal Edition 📸🌊

Following the success of our first ever Shutter Showdown, we’re back for round two—this time, we’re heading to the beautiful coastal towns of North Tyneside. 🏖️☀️🐚🦀

✨Whether you joined us last time or you’re new to the competition, expect a day of creativity, connection, and some light-hearted rivalry as we explore a series of themed photography challenges in scenic seaside spots. ✨

Just like before, each round will have a unique theme, and you’ll need to capture its essence through your lens. At the end of each round, everyone will vote for their favourites—because what’s a showdown without a little friendly competition? 🗳️

🔍 Example Round: “Life’s a Beach”
✅ Objective: Capture the charm of North Tyneside’s beaches.
👍 Creative Tip: Use composition tricks like leading lines and reflections to add interest and mood.

This is intended to be a relaxed day trip, and we’ll be moving from place to place (Tynemouth, Cullercoats and Whitley Bay) as a group, stopping at key spots along the way for each challenge. Make sure to bring comfortable, weather-appropriate footwear—you’ll be on your feet and possibly on the sand!

‼️ You’ll need to bring your own camera or smartphone and be able to upload images online. No fancy gear required—just an eye for a good shot. 🤩

There’s no prize—just bragging rights, shared laughs, and a day well spent capturing the spirit of North Tyneside. 📷✨
