Gals’ Gathering: Jesmond Dene Waterfall Walk and a Peek at Pets’ Corner 🌳🐑🐰

This one’s for the girls!

This is your chance to mix with other ladies of North East Culture & Conversation and engage in some friendly chatter - all you need to bring along is yourself! Comfortable footwear is recommended, and be warned that there may be mud, though we hope to be blessed by a fine summer’s day 🙏🏻☀️.

Join us as we wander in search of waterfalls in Newcastle’s prettiest park and pay a visit to the fluffy and feathered residents of Pets’ Corner. The animals frolicking about do vary, but we’re likely to find alpacas, peacocks, goats, rabbits, sheep and pot-bellied pigs! Entry is free, though donations are welcome. 🐷 🦚

We’ll gather between 2pm and 2.30pm at the lovely Punch Bowl pub on Jesmond Road before heading out on our woodland adventure. You should expect a relaxing walk, rather than an athletic hike. There is a café near Pets’ Corner if folks want to stop for a drink or snack mid-event, and we may head back to The Punch Bowl afterwards for some refreshments if folks wish to continue chatting ☕️ 🌮
