MOVIE NIGHT: Zombie Flesh Eaters

Each year Star and Shadow shows a classic zombie film on Easter Sunday to play up the whole "resurrection" and "come back from the dead" thing 🧟‍♂️🧟‍♂️🧟‍♂️

This year they've got a classic from Italian horror auteur Lucio Fulci: the gory, surreal masterpiece Zombie Flesh Eaters. Returning to the Caribbean roots of the zombie myth, this take on the genre largely takes place on a small tropical island where a voodoo curse has caused the dead to rise from their graves.

In previous years, volunteers would offer to apply gory makeup to people before the movie - not 100% if it's going to happen this year, I will double check - but if you want to look like a zombie on days that are not Halloween, now is your time (and I'm not talking about just being sleep and caffeine deprived 🥱☕)

Important info
Make sure to purchase a ticket in advance, as there might not be any tickets available on the day. Star and Shadow cinema is a volunteer-run venue and doesn't show trailers prior to movie screenings, so make sure to arrive on time.
