We had quite the turnout for this poll, and a very tight race, but the winner - by a whisker - was Who Censored Roger Rabbit? by Gary K. Wolf.

Set in a world where humans and comic strip characters co-exist, we follow private eye Eddie Valiant who is hired by Roger Rabbit to look into why his employers have reneged on a deal with him. At least, that's how it starts...

Featuring theft, blackmail, murder, and more Toons than you can shake a rubber mallet at, it was the basis of the movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit, released in 1988. Be aware though, the book differs hugely from the film! We look forward to hearing which one you prefer.
