Session 1 - Precious Ajuru - Azure Arc for Servers: From Onboarding to Governance

Azure Arc-Enabled Servers unlock the ability to project your on-premises and multi-cloud Windows and Linux servers into Azure, allowing you to manage them like native Azure resources.

In this session, we’ll walk through what Azure Arc for Servers is, how onboarding works, and the practical benefits it brings for governance, security, and compliance.

Expect a clear, demo-focused approach showing how Arc bridges the gap between your local datacentre and Azure for true hybrid management.

Precious Ajuru is an Azure Cloud Engineer at iamproperty, with extensive experience designing and managing hybrid and cloud infrastructures.

He holds multiple Microsoft certifications, including Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, and Azure Network Engineer Associate.

Precious is passionate about simplifying cloud concepts for real-world use and sharing practical insights with the tech community.

ECOM are based in a renovated space called the Bonded Warehouse which sits on the same site as the Old-Granada studio tour.

The entrance to the bonded warehouse can be reached from Lower Byrom street just next to the Museum of Science and Industry, the building entrance is on the right hand side across from the crystal maze. Google and apple maps may attempt to direct you to the rear of the building, if in doubt use the what3words location and look for the Crystal Maze too.
