Catherine joined the City of Fort Collins in 2015 as an HR Business Partner and now manages the Business Partner team, supporting over 2,500 employees through talent planning, leadership coaching, and employee relations. Her background includes recruiting at Colorado State University and employment services at the Larimer County Workforce Center. With deep insight into hiring practices, she offers job seekers a behind-the-scenes look at how interview panels make decisions, including what hiring managers are really thinking, what factors influence final selections, and how to tailor responses effectively. Interview preparation is her specialty, and she enjoys helping candidates craft a personalized strategy. While she doesn’t work with AI screening tools, she brings a wealth of practical guidance to the overall job search process and looks forward to supporting NoCoNet members.
