The NPT Book Club monthly meeting will be Monday, March 9th at the Rhinelander District Library from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm. in the lower level conference room. All NPT members are invited to attend any of the monthly meetings. The major theme of the books that are selected are based on some aspect of nature. You're welcome to join in at any time, or just sit in and listen to our lively discussions. Our next read in March is Wild by Cheryl Strayed. The 22 year old author tells of her eleven-hundred mile solo hike along the Pacific Crest Trail traversing California and Oregon. The author vividly captures the terrors and pleasures of one young woman forging ahead against all odds on a journey that would challenge the best of us in NPT. The library has copies reserved under NPT Book Club and can be picked up at the reference desk.
We hope to see you there.
A donation of $5.00 per event is requested for non-NPT members which can be paid at the event. Membership for NPT is $10.00/year. To become a NPT member go to northernpaddleandtrail.org and click in the upper righthand corner and find membership.
