Come make the most of these fine summer days with a leisurely paddle and breakfast/brunch on Marshall's Crk.
We will be hitting the water at 8.30 pm (NSW time), meeting at the Mona Lane car park (metered parking) Brunswick Heads, launching from the small beach that adjoin the park. From there we paddle around to the mouth of Marshall's Crk and make our way up stream (approx. 5.5 km) to New Brighton. We will have coffee and a bite to eat at The Salty Mangrove Cafe, (www.thesaltymangrove.com) before beading back on the outgoing tide.
This is an ideal paddle for first timers, offering a pleasant paddle winding through mangrove and natural bushlands and offering a wide assortment of birdlife. Overall distance of 9 approximately km (round trip).
As we are into Summer be sure to bring water, sunscreen and a wide brim hat.
