Come hike the trail up to Sixmile Mountain near swan lake this sunday!
The trail is moderately challenging, a bit steep but nothing crazy, with a total mileage of 9 miles and 3,300 feet of elevation gain. The trail winds upwards through the forest and comes out above the treeline with great eastward views of the Bob and Glacier and of swan lake and the valley looking west.
We'll meet at woodys and drive down to the trailhead which is several miles up a dirt road off of the highway that runs along swan lake. The road up is slightly bumpy so some can carpool if they wish.
This is a nice hike, if ever we reach snow I will stop and turn around. Hope to see you there!
