Digital Photo Academy: Composition in the Field

Details
Digital Photo Academy: Composition in the Field
a Workshop at Liberty Station in San Diego
Welcome to Liberty Station, which was once a major Naval Training Center in San Diego. It was established by Congress in 1919 and commissioned in 1923. During World War II Liberty Station trained as many as 25,000 recruits. Liberty Station at one point covered over 500 acres of land together with the training buildings at the 32nd Street Naval Station.
In 1997 the military’s use of Liberty Station ended and thoughts of redevelopment opportunities by the city for housing, parks, recreation,
business and the conservation of the historic location began.
Dust off your camera and walk through the wonders of the historic
Liberty Station grounds as we explore and discuss various photographic compositions, theories and create some exciting images.
