Deutsch am Mittag: Denkmalschutz

Sprechen Sie Deutsch? All who wish to hear and speak German are invited to bring their lunch to our monthly presentation and discussion. The topic of this month is the Denkmalschutz (historic preservation) and the challenge to find an adequate compromise between a community's historical identity as expressed in urban architecture and the need for modern buildings. Our speaker, Brigitte Fessenden, former city planner in Baltimore, will speak on the topic. Tickets are $5 (no charge for members, seniors and students with ID). Beverages and sweets are provided. RSVP to Irmgard Wagner at iwagner@gmu.edu More info: https://www.goethe.de/... (https://www.goethe.de/ins/us/was/ver/en8730062v.htm)
