Mike is a lifelong resident of the Washington DC area, and resides on a farm near the Chesapeake Bay south of Annapolis. He is passionate about photography and loves meeting new clients, or as he prefers to call them; future friends! The photography experience is not a one time meeting in his eyes, but the beginning of a long term relationship that will bring you joy and preserve your most precious memories. Mike sees the beauty in everyone, and his years of fashion photography experience give him the ability to bring it into the light!

He enjoys competing in photographic competitions to keep him in touch with current trends and was awarded numerous awards for his images in 2007 including several Best of Show awards on a regional and International Level, was awarded the title of 2007 Portrait Photographer of the Year by the MD Professional Photographers Association, and he won a much coveted Fuji Masterpiece Award from Fujifilm USA for photographic excellence. He loves to give back to the community as well and has provided photo services to The Leukemia Lymphoma Society for Light the Night 2008, and staged two large cancer survivor portrait exhibitions in the DC region last year.

His work has been published in many publications including Professional Photographer Magazine, I Do Magazine, Engaged! Magazine, Modern Bride, Maxim and FHM.

Philip Brasch's passion for photography began in his high school years when he purchased his first 35mm film camera, a Pentax ME. 10 years ago Philip developed photography as a profession by studying under and working for a few of the great wedding and portrait photographers on the East coast (including James Roy, Clay Blackmore, and Doug Gordon). Influenced by their styles and techniques, he has developed a new genre of wedding, environmental, and existing light portrait photography now popularly known as Lifestyle Photography: the use of the rules of traditional portrait lighting to maximize consistency in natural, existing light photography combined with the action of photojournalism.

His current endeavors include:
