See the Masonic Temple & Old Town Alexandria! Walk 5 or 10 km (3 or 6 mi)

Join the Northern Virginia Walking Club (Volksmarchers) as we explore Old Town Alexandria and the Waterfront. Dating back to the start of our country, the trail goes along city and residential streets and through local parks along the Potomac River. Old Town Alexandria is full of American history featuring our first President, George Washington, and Civil War families like the Lees. Pets aren't allowed on allowed on the Masonic Temple Grounds but can be kept in your vehicle while you register and can be walked to and from your car once you are walking.

Walk cost is $2 to defray expenses for our sport, but those wanting AVA event credit pay $4 (correct change appreciated). Dogs and children are welcome but those under 18 must have a guardian present. Meet walk host Rob Grunewald by the side entrance of the Masonic Temple (towards the Amtrack Station) by 9:45 am to register, so we can leave by 10:00 am.
