What to Expect
Half-day meditation retreats provide an immersive opportunity to practice in a community setting. The retreat will be organized around a gentle rhythm of sitting and walking meditation.

During an in-person retreat participants will have a chance to:

  • Take a break from daily stressors, allowing for a reset of the nervous system.
  • Sit in silence to accelerate mental and emotional healing.
  • Rewire habitual thinking patterns and have an experience of open awareness.
  • Practice in a traditional way in a modern community setting.

By removing external distractions, participants lower cortisol, increase emotional resilience, and build lasting mindfulness skills that improve well-being for weeks afterward.

Equipment
Zaputon and zafu cushions are provided. Chairs are also available. Feel free to bring anything else you might need to feel comfortable (a water bottle, blanket, your own cushion, etc.).
