Desi Karaoke & Dinner @ Spice Xing

DJ scheduling issues so we are moving this date to Friday, 08/17/2018. Apologies for inconvenience and I hope this change, although involuntary and unforeseen, would allow for more members to attend the event.

Hi Everyone,

The time has come for us to visit our neighbors in Maryland and blast the night away at the Spice Xing Karaoke in Rockville.

If you have been here before, you can just skip reading this part and RSVP "yes" as you know what fun this event brings :)

For the rest of us who have not paid this venue a visit, it is a Bollywood Restaurant that has great food and every now and then on Fridays, they host Karaoke sing and dance event. Rest assured, we've always had tons and tons of fun at this place. Great music, great fun, awesome environment. It is a kid-friendly event, but I'd like to mention that the dancing runs close to or a little past midnight so please plan accordingly.

Plan would be to as always, get there around 8:00, wrap up dinner before 9:30 pm and that is when the karaoke and dancing fun begins.

We've always taken a big group (40+ attendees) to this venue so the restaurant usually sets a limit for our group, I'll put the rsvp limit to 50 attendees between both my groups; Northern Desis and Indians in Nova group. More details to come on this as we near the event date but for now, BOOK THE DATE AND TIME!!! July 27, Friday @ 8:00 at Spice Xing in Rockville. P.S - I know this is being scheduled over a month in advance but I just got the Karaoke night dates from the restaurant owner last night and this gives everyone ample time to plan this Friday evening accordingly.
