Sourdough Baking Workshop – Beginner Friendly!
Join us at the Gathering Grove for a hands-on sourdough baking workshop on July 12th (Sat.) from 10:30am-1:30pm, designed for beginners! In this workshop, we’ll dive into the essentials of sourdough baking, including:**Maintaining and nurturing your own sourdough starter
**Understanding the fermentation process
**Learning how to bake a perfectly delicious loaf of sourdough bread
**Each participant will take home their very own sourdough starter, along with a detailed guide to continue their sourdough journey at home.Co-host: Kairah is the owner of Poppy Bakehouse, a local cottage bakery here in Northfield. They specialize in sourdough bread and bagels, using only the finest ingredients. Our naturally leavened sourdough is made with a unique blend of Organic Hard Red Wheat and Organic Malted Barley Flour, ensuring a rich, flavorful loaf!
