Hanna Park Hike

We will meet in Parking Lot #10 at the very end of Hanna Park. There is a fee of $5.00 per car up to 6 people. After you pay continue straight. The road dead ends. Turn left and enter into the first parking lot on the right. Look for the Ford F-150 White Truck.
Gates open at 8am - please plan to arrive so we can leave by 8:30am for the hike.

The hike: 3 or 6 mile option.
We will walk to the woods and start the hike. It is about 3 miles in the woods. There are alot of roots and if it's wet - could be alittle muddy near some of the creeks. There are a couple places where the trail crosses the bike trail and we are on the bike trail for a few feet. So pay attention when we get to those areas.
We will walk at a moderate semi-fast pace.
We will not stop for any breaks while hiking in the woods.
Wear hiking shoes/boots, bring a walking stick if you like, bug spray, hat, sunglasses pending on weather.
This is a loop so we will end back at the end of the road. We will take a short break here.
You may stop and go home or hike the 6 mile option: If weather remains good we will continue our hike and walk up to beach - hike on beach down to the end by the Naval Fence - go up the boardwalk and come back zigzagging in and out of the paved parking lots until we arrive back to our cars.

Entire event is weather permitting.
