Fort George Island Hike!

Come join us as we explore the remains of a 1920’s golf course. The Fairway Loop trail on Fort George Island takes us through a former golf course that is being returned to its natural state. The trail is primarily under sprawling oak trees and allows for water views as well. Please make sure to bring plenty of water and also sun and bug protection.

We will be meeting at the picnic tables in the parking lot across the street from the Ribault Club. While dogs are allowed on the tails, we are asking that you do not bring dogs on this hike. We are also asking that children not participate on this hike. You must bring water. We are recommending some form of sun protection such as a large hat, sun umbrella, or a sun shirt. Hikers are asked to make a personal emergency medical card and to place the card in an easily accessible location in your pocket or pack.
