Trail Maintenance at Gold Head Branch State Park Day 2

This is not a FTA event and we will still be on despite the Federal Government Shutdown.

Join our trail crew as we mow, lop and blaze from SR-21 to the Ranger Station of the Florida trail through Gold Head Branch State Park.

Please wear comfortable hiking shoes (no open toed shoes) and clothing to cut and trim brush in.

Bring work gloves, bug spray, sunscreen, a snack or lunch and plenty of water, we will take breaks while working on the trail.

We will be using brush mowers, hedge trimmers, and loppers.

PPE Safety equipment will be provided.

We will meet just inside the entrance to go over duties and safety procedures before getting started.
