Pioneer Trail at Dunn's Farm Trailhead Hike

Lets hike about 4.5 miles of the Pioneer Trail, taking on the Dunn's Farm Trail in Jennings State Forest. We will hike at a leisurely pace and take breaks as need along this beautiful trail. We will step off Dunn's Trail and head onto the Pioneer Trail to check out Dunn Cemetary. There are parts that are more sun and some more shade. Be prepared with water, sunscreen, hat, sun glasses, and bug spray. This trail has some flat areas, but there's also some steep inclines and declines with narrow paths and tripping hazards. Hiking poles will be a help!

There is ample parking with a $2.00 parking fee you can pay once there using a QR code. There are no bathrooms in the lot or on the trail. We will meet at the trailhead located at Nolan Road Recreation Area. The GPS coordinates are 30.128850,-81.964160. Look for the North FL Trailblazer signs. This event will be held rain or shine but may be cancelled if there is thunder or lightning.
