Details

This is not a FTA event and this trail work is still on despite the Federal Government shutdown.

Join our trail crew as we cut, trim, mow, and blaze through Camp Blanding.

The trail has some small, downed trees and brush from previous storms and can use some work to get it ready for hiking season.

Please wear comfortable closed toe work shoes or hiking boots along with light weight work clothing.

Bring sunscreen, insect repellent, gloves and plenty of water.

We will take lunch and breaks along the trail, so bring a lunch or snack.

We will Meet at the Treat Road Trail Head and at 8:00 AM then shuttle to the SR-21 Trail Head across from Gold Head State Park to start trail work.

PPE equipment will be provided.

We will be performing the maintenance as volunteers for the land manager of this section, and we will have to sign their liability waivers when we do our safety briefing.
This section is closed to the public at this time but still needs maintaining.
