Details

Come hike with me for the first part of our Pumpkin Hill Creek Preserve adventure. We will start at Cedar Point Preserve at the Fitzpatrick Trailhead (Cedar Point is park of the Pumpkin Hill State Park). You will enjoy seeing diverse ecosystems, including wetlands, forests, and coastal areas. We will be hiking 5-miles along several trails at a moderate pace on the south end of the park. There are ample free parking spots and a port-o-potty in the lot. You must carry water to participate. You also may want to have bug spray, a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses. We start walking at 9:00 so plan to be there early. The trailhead is at 7239 Cedar Point Road, Jax or the coordinates are 30.462323, -81.488554.
