Come hike with me for part 2 of our Pumpkin Hill Creek Preserve adventure. We will start at the Pumpkin Hill Creek Preserve State Park entrance. You will enjoy seeing diverse ecosystems, including wetlands, forests, and coastal areas. We will be hiking 5-miles along various trails at a moderate pace on the north side of the park. There are ample free parking spots and a bathroom in the lot. You must carry water to participate. You also may want to have bug spray, a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses. We start walking at 9:00 so plan to be there early. The trailhead is at 13802 Pumpkin Hill Road, Jacksonville.
