Tabling at the Talbot Tidewater Celebration

This event is an annual outdoor event that features vendors, hikes, and is a way to get the public to connect with nature.
We have done this for several years and generally pick up a lot of new members who either visit our booth or attend one of our short hikes.

Requirements: Be willing to talk to people, hand out stickers to kids and talk up the FTA and our chapter. The event also falls on National Trails Day and is sponsored by the "Friends of Talbot Islands State Parks", one of our partners in Jacksonville.

We need 2 people in the booth during the event hours. Enough folks for 2 shifts would be great (morning and afternoon).

Hikes: There is also an opportunity to lead two hikes (approximately 2 miles) around Ft George.

If you are interested in helping out, accept and leave a comment on when you can come and what activities you prefer. Our booth is usually near the entrance and in the shade. If not, we will have our pop-up canopy available.
