Hike Spanish Pond & Fort Caroline

We will be hiking 5+ miles at a moderate pace through the nice and shady Spanish Pond, seeing Willie Browne's old homestead and cemetery. Then across the street to hike a slightly slower 1.5-miles at the nice and shady Fort Caroline. Spanish Pond has beautiful views, and some areas are sandy and hilly. We will park for free at Spanish Pond where there are plenty of parking spots, but no bathroom. There are bathrooms, a visitor center, and (of course) a Fort with lots of historical information at Fort Caroline.
You must have WATER to hike. Also suggest bringing bug spray, a hat, and sunglasses.
