Louisiana River Adventures - Tube or Kayak

Hi NSCO Members!

Come on out and float or kayak down the BEST STRETCH of the Bogue Chitto River. Louisiana River Adventures (formerly Wayne’s World Tubing) strives to provide outdoor and river activities for everyone. They offer canoeing, kayaking and tubing! River travel time fluctuates depending on the current and how many beaches you stop at along the way!

We will be on the four-hour trip (closer to 3 hours if we do not stop for long periods of time). The price below states tubing or kayaking ends at _____ . They mean that is the last time people can arrive to go on a trip.

Tubing Price:

• $25 Tube
• $10 Ice Chest Tube
• 2 & 4 hour floats - same price!
• 4 Hour floats END at 1:30pm.
• 2 Hour float ENDS at 3:30pm.

Kayaking Prices:

• $35 per single kayak
• You must be on the water by 1:30pm
• Kayaks are on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE basis
• Life vests are required and provided free of charge.
• $25 for shuttle to bring your own kayak, must be here by 10 AM for shuttle of your own kayak

What to bring:

• Sunscreen
• Drinks (plenty of fluids for hydration). Alcohol is allowed; however, no glass containers
• Food (picnic or snacks). We will stop along one of the sandy beaches and picnic
• Waterproof bag (for cellphone, etc.). LA Adventures will hang on to your car keys while you enjoy the water

There are no bathrooms ONCE we get on the Bogue other than trees. So, toilet paper or biodegradable wipes are encouraged/

Otherwise, the best and EASIEST way to get here is to follow the map you can download below. Trust us, GPS is not your friend when you travel out to less populated areas such as the beautiful Bogue Chitto river. However, if you really must use your GPS, the following will get you here:
