Would you like to run with others, to scenic places around Sydney? \

NRG is a social running club organised by volunteer runners and for runners, to help and encourage their achievement of running goals. We offer group sessions led by leaders and qualified coaches, and also host social and education events. \

Most sessions are 60-90 minutes long, cater to slower, medium & faster runners, and offer routes that change every week for variety. Typically 15-40 people will turn up for a session.
Annual membership is $60 for April through March fiscal year. You can try us once or twice before deciding to join as a member.

Our most popular run, this hour-long loop takes you through local suburbs in three different pace groups.

Start from North Sydney Indoor Sports Centre, with a different route each week. [masked]km with three pace groups. Terrain is usually mainly road but often includes some bush tracks.

Monday Intervals

Want to improve your speed and have fun at the same time?
Join coach Steve for a pace-graded session that will change every week. It might be 200m sprints, a relay, hill repeats, a 5km time trial, or a loop. Rain or shine, all year 'round. Average total distance 6-8km.

Tuesday Night Training

Two different sessions on Tuesdays:

  1. Ron's Run: an easy-paced 5-6km local run
  2. Half/full marathon training with coach Chris: a dedicated weekly Half Marathon Training Course for members (with an add-on for anyone doing an upcoming Marathon), aiming to train for events through to the end of December 2020. When not training for longer races, this becomes a Speed & Strength training session.
