Presentation: Building AI-Powered Endpoints with .NET Azure Functions and OpenAI Bindings

Presenter: Alex Pshul (Microsoft MVP)

Starting with Azure Functions is easy. They are a great tool to create a facade to different services you might have in your system and if you are brave enough, they can even be your entire backend of your system. The different hosting models allow you to pay as little as $0/month, while the different bindings allow you to speed up your development process for the commonly used services and tools that Azure provides.

But what if we want to make OpenAI easy as well? With the advancements in the LLM world, more and more apps are using OpenAI and Azure Functions can serve as a great tool to hide your OpenAI configurations, secrets and keys from the clients. Thanks to the addition of OpenAI bindings for Azure Functions, you can now achieve this faster, more securely, and with ease. (And with much less pain than you could even imagine)

Join Alex in this session where he will demonstrate how easy and fast it is to spin up your own AI oriented endpoints using Azure Functions and the new OpenAI bindings for .NET Azure Functions.
