Reasoning

Everybody knows, or think they know, what reasoning is. Yet as a subject it is fairly diverse. Reasoning is applicable to everybody, but of course reasoning is a core component of AI/AGI, so it is incumbent upon the developer to be aware of its history and nuances.

This is envisioned to be the first in a short series of reasoning discussions leading up to a survey of contemporary LLM reasoning challenges and successes.

The agenda will focus on the essential nature of reasoning and rationality.
