BARDEN BRIDGE, BOLTON ABBEY & THE STRID CHRISTMAS WALK Easy Paced Social Sociable Winter Wellness Walk
A lovely winter walk showcasing some beautiful Dales scenery from the recent series’ of
ALL CREATURES GREAT & SMALL
DETAILS:
Starting at Barden Bridge The Bridge they can never cross in the series, we walk along the well defined path along the River Wharf Eventually Passing Bolton Abbey turning upstream to follow the opposite bank passing the Famous Strid & returning to Barden Tower & Bridge. 9mls 300m ascent.
It’s designed as an easy paced social walk, but we will need to carry waterproofs, hat gloves, lunch, drink and a spare warm fleece or top of some sort. Boots with a good sole as it could be slippy.

Please complete and carry your personal details card & quietly let your walk leader know of any problems you may have on the walk, so that we can accommodate or advise you.
Young Adults 14 to 18 are allowed on the walk after consultationion with walk leader, as guests of an adult, who remains responsible for them throughout the walk.
DOGS ALLOWED 1pp max 3 for group but, must be on a lead.
