Milnthorpe & Dallam Deer Park, Beetham Fairy Steps, Hazelslack and Sandside

Dallam Deer Park 6.4mls 200m ascent
A lovely ‘recce’ walk heading South from Milthorpe, we’ll visit Beetham Corn Mill & St Michael’s Church before heading via The Fairy Steps to Hazelslack Tower. Heading North to the Kent Estuary then following the River Bela back into Milnthorpe.
A walk mostly through dale & parkland with lots of interest, natural and man made.
Dress Warmly, bring waterproofs, hat/gloves & a spare fleece. Wear boots. A hot drink and some lunch essential, sit mat a good idea.
Car park is a pay CP but other places Ed may be available. Arrive early.
